The Historical Workshop invites visitors to come, see, and experience a wide range of crafts and traditions, characteristic for Lolland in the 19th century.
Both adults and children can have a close look at the fascinating collection of old tools and kitchen utensils.
There is also a possibility of helping to start the 5 meter high diesel engine from 1932 or of trying your hand at working in the Old Smithy where the staff can give you help and advice.
The Historical Workshop is housed in one of the local power stations of that time where electricity used to be produced by diesel power.
The workshop staff is unpaid and works voluntarily to extend people’s knowledge of craftsmanship from days gone by.
